HELLO earthlingssss..

I WENT FOR STAND CHART MARATHON 2009!
(as volunteer)

hahaa. canvassed 20 bucks for my FOC (: im a real slacker in generating $$ for the committee. haaa.

the marathon was on 6th dec, sunday, but we gathered at 10pm, saturday.
THAT MEANS.. yea lohh. overnight.
met up with the subcomms for supper, but ended up talking and not eating.

saw kristine and she is in my drink station group. the sense of reunion was damn idiotic. she's xue lian's fren and when she intro kristine to us.. all i did was..
eh! u still rmb me????! ST JOHN ZONE 10!
den she was like .. OMG! NO WONDER I FIND U SO FAMILAR. then we started to rattle off some st john updates while the remaining group looked at us yakking away. * lol. we were standing in the middle of the circle. so idiotic can.

den at 12am, we headed to the bus catered from SCM outside JP.
once we reached there, we got our snack pack, registered and then changed into our volunteer tee. its jus a plain grey tee. =x ugly.
waited and slacked for a while before another bus took us away to nicoll highway.
reached our destination at aprrox 3 plus am. from there, we do saikang jobs such as carrying cartons of 1.5L ice mountain bottles. one carton damn heavy leh!

the guys refused to let me and xuanqi carry the cartons! =x duno shld be happy or sad.
they think we are toooooooooooooo weak to carry those cartons. it was damn heavy lahh. but we insist on carrying because we REN XIAO ZHI QI DA!! HAHAHAHA. when they see us trying to carry a carton, they strightaway take it away from us. yiuhang even said smth like, " ehh. u main comm de leh. our boss. u just let us carry for u." i also duno how to react when he said that. =x

den we self-entertained till 5 plus am. haha. mingled with the subcommers. its really a tough job trying to rmb their names. then when people starts to sleep, xuanqi and i got crazy and decided to run to the nearest traffic light and then back again. it was quite far lah. hahaa. but we JING LI CHONG PEI! hahahaa. ran towards the traffic light, but stopped and chatted with the 2 lonely marshalls who were 400m away from our station. we dun even noe them loh! haha. and we just kope their marshall sign (its a quite hand sign that read no.1) we got a little crazy and ran back to the station with their signs, and started shooting our people with the handsign. it was stupid lahh. hahah. trent even entertained us lohh! cute. it was shiok sitting right in the middle of the road, eating beeehoooon. at the dawn somemore. hahaha.

and then.. at the crack of dawn, I FINALLY SEE PEOPLE RUNNING IN! my station is abt 6km from the starting point. the start of the race was kinda exagerated cos it was lead by some traffic police on motorbikes and car. machiam some president arriving like that. but yea, the first few were people from kenya i think? i assumed its from kenya cos kenya was the first few to reach the finish line. haha.

anyway, forgot to intro my role! drink station crew. basically, we just fill the ice mountain water into paper cups for them. people from full marathon really meant business. they grabbed the cups as they ran. AND SPILLING AT LEAST HALF CUP OF WATER ON US. hahaha. cos they din stop to grab the water. MY WAIST area were soaked with water. lol. and my shoes keep kena water spilled by them. some people just take sips and then throw the whole cup towards us, and spilling water onto us! lol. but it was fun lah. cos we really have to keep refilling water! it was depleting at a very fast rate lohh! when i first saw the amt of tables, i was like.. eh pls lah. why need so many people? BUT.. really need so many people lohh! when the crowd starts to enter, the water really deplete lik crazy and we had to RUSH and keep pouring water, damn busy leh! but it was fun being that busy (:

then our crew stopped working after 10 plus am cos most ppl ran past us already.
den just slacked in the middle of the road again. haha.
helped to clean up a bit. it was a huge mess lah, seriously.

anyway, after that, the bus brough us back to padang and we collected our hard earned 20 bucks. it was in an envelope and i din even open it lohh! den jiu pass to our vice chair le. =( haha. but nvm! its contributing to the funds for our freshies next yr!

p.s. my muscle very pain leh. and i only carry 2 cartons of water over a dist of less than 10m. IT WAS HEAVY LAH.

self dismissed when we reached padang, but me xuanqi yingming and xuelian slacked a little in the tentage before going off. supposed to meet my parents at chinatown but they will be late since i have 1 hour to spare, i decided to take mrt from city hall to jurong east with xuelian and yingming and then back to chinatown by myself. lol. nothing better to do rite. haha.

reached hm at 2 plus pm and slept till 6pm. supposed to go back to kss for my st john campfire, but int the end i din go cos i was too lazy to. ordered pizza for dinner and slack at home. then at abt 7 plus, weifen came to my hse and nua-ed until 11.
slept. woke up at 9am today.

went for breakfast with my fam at bukitpanjang.
went for vaccination jab since cos i scare kena h1n1 when i go perth. cost 32 bucks.
came home and do some online shopping and then headed to school for programmers' meeting. slacked ard in CAC room, videoconferencing with stella before gg out for recce. AND I FREAKING JUST REALISED IM IN CHARGE OF THE FINALE OF THE SENIOR CAMP. omg. stress! omgomgomg! serious. gg. i damn scare i screw up lah. darn. arrghh! time to be bestfrens with my chief prog and assist chief. lol.

left the meeting at 5.15 since the agenda is more or less done. rushed off to meet kwek at queenstown. bought a 40litre bag for my perth trip and camps. 80 bucks. love it! it's quite worth cos other brands were like 200 plus bucks lah. im glad i found one which i like for only 80 bucks. (:
homed. and typing this. haaa. seems like my days lik no day no night liddat. =x
